Sifu Allison Escario will be presenting a series of classes geared to meditation in honor of October, Walking Meditation Month. Walking meditation, also called kinhin or mindful walking, is a moving meditation from the Buddhist tradition. You keep your eyes open and use the experience of walking as the focal point. Unlike some other forms of mindfulness and meditation, where you focus on the breath, mindful walking meditation encourages you to breathe without effort.
